No "Uninvited guests parties" at the Independence day.
Nihilist Union of Jyväskylä announces the strike of the professional
demonstrators in Finland.
Matti Mäkinen denies everything.
Representatives and other famous people can move peacefully to the
Independence days ball which are taking place at the President s castle,
Helsinki, Finland.
Taxi drivers can also drive safely, because all the demonstrators that have
been attacing against taxi cars around President s castle previous years,
have now retired from so called "Uninvited guests demostartions". Long time
main organizator of demonstrations, The Nihilist Union of Jyväskylä declares
now the stirke of the professional demonstrators. This strike is specially
targetted to independence day.
- It is very clear why we organize this strike. Employers, in this case
organizations like Attac, Friends of the Earth, Justice to Animals, Union
of Conscientious Objectors in Finland, Young Leftists, Young Greens, all
the students, Communist party of Finland, Anarchist Action and what ever
there are in the field, have not paid their wages and rewards to Union from
last years demonstrations, says the Head of the Nihilists Union of Finland,
Matti Mäkinen.
The Nihilist Union of Jyväskylä has now published the general announcement
concerning this strike, and they are calling all professional demonstrators
to join to this strike front. Strike is planned to last all independence
day, which is in Finland the sixth of december. Strike stops all the strike
production from the Senats square to Market square, which have been the
traditional places where the action has happened in independence days
demonstrations.
Mäkinen says that all the professional demonstrators have to know their
pride: "If we don t get our wages, it is better to get pissed at your home,
than to go to the Market square and catch cold."
The Nihilist Union of Finland has been organizing this spectacle of
"uninvited guests party" since year 1996. Union has organized working
force and rented workers to these demontrations that have been held around
the President s castle. Union has also been the main developer of the
image and brand which is now known in Finland as "demonstration of
uninvited guests".
All the professionals at the Union have been working in all different kinds
of actions which concern these demonstrations. Among typical and apathic
demonstrating, they have been also throwing snow balls, scratching taxi
cars, acting agressevely against all the representatives and their wives,
exspecially against those who have been wearing fur clothes. They have also
blocked cars and beating police. After all this work that has been ordered
from all these organizations that were mentioned above, professional
demonstrators have not received any rewards at all. Mäkinen wants to make
clear, that this strike is not a same thing as not doing the work which
demontrators of Union have been commited to. He also says, that everybody
has to remember that actions made by the Union made possible to have a new
law in Finland which concerns wearing masks at the demonstrations. Masks
are from now on illegal. Union wants to get their share of the profits of
this new law from the state of Finland, says Mäkinen.
Mäkinen says also, that this strike that Nihilist Union of Jyväskylä is
now organizing, is in fact a strike of the strike. Last yar the market
strategy unit of Union developed this every year demonstration as a
"Society s strike".
- It is now time to put a strike against strike, reflects Mäkinen. The long
time tactic of Union for the independence day has been good old denying
of denying. After all, it is true that in this situation we arive to the
paradox, says Mäkinen.
The Nihilist Union of Jyväskylä wants also raise attention in public to
realize the growing use of rented working force at the demonstration
business. Mäkinen says, that all these organizations of citizens have been
tighten working conditions of demonstrators, because they have been using
precariat for riots.
- This so called precariat is not a good thing, says Mäkinen.
