"Neither God NOR State Nor Bosses"
NAKHDAR: A Persian Anarcho-Communist Journal Spring 2002 Issue#2
NAKHDAR POBox 380473 Cambridge Massachusetts 02238-0473 USA
Who We Are:
What you have in your hands is the 2nd issue of an
Anarcho-Communist journal in Farsi - "national"
language spoken in IRAN- published in the U.S.A. It
is, as we know of, the first journal of its kind! We
are a handful of Iranians who have come to realize the
necessity of an independent, non-authoritarian (i.e
Anarchist) tendency within the Iranian left movement
in general. It is by this mean that we are to
participate and influence the success of any authentic
revolutionary movement in IRAN. We do not claim to
have answers to all the tactical &/or strategic
questions. But we definitely need to lay down the
theoretical foundation for such a movement. As Anarcho-Communist
we work toward the complete overthrow of capitalism
and state in IRAN. To accomplish a society (and a
world) without social classes, free & equal, we base
our movement along the Anarchist principles of
decentralized, federalist, mutual aid, self-management
and direct democracy. All the means of theproduction,
wealth & resources would, obviously, be
commonly owned. The distribution of goods and services
will be based on the needs of each individual,
adhering to the principle: "From each according to
their ability, to each according to their needs". We
are against all forms of nationalism & any other
artificial divisions within the working class
worldwide. We support all the anti-imperialist
movements which are taking an strong stand against the
neo-liberal, æglobalizedÆ corporate dominance. As
Anarchists we have to remain at the forefront of
these struggles. It is naive to think that this
revolutionary process is going to be peaceful.
We strongly believe that as long as freedom is being
oppressed through the dark hands of capital & state,
we would never have social peace. To this end we
justify & encourage all revolutionary means that
enhance the pursuit of the class war: general strike, direct
action, sabotage, property damage, civil disobedience
& mass confrontation. The issue of revolutionary
violence has to be viewed from a tactical standpoint
rather than an ideological one!
